RICK HAYS
SENIOR PASTOR
Rick joined Orchardville Church as the Youth Pastor for Modified Youth in January of 2017 and transitioned into the Senior Pastor position in June of 2021. He spent his early years growing up near Chicago (loves the Cubs) and moved to Southern Illinois with his family when he was in junior high. He gave his life to the Lord at a young age, but didn’t grasp the relationship Jesus wanted with him until he was out of high school. It was at this time he felt called to ministry. His passion for working with youth began when he began volunteering to help out with the youth group at his church. He volunteered as the youth pastor at a local church for eight years. During this time, he enrolled in college and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education/Special Education. He taught in the area for a few years before beginning his ministry here at Orchardville Church.
Rick is married to Sara, his partner in ministry, and they have two children; a son named Jaxon who passed away in July of 2022 and a daughter named Brylin. He enjoys spending time with his family, his friends, movies, reading, and coaching sports. Rick knows ministry is his calling and his heart is for as many people as possible to come to know Jesus as their Savior and best friend.
JENIFER McCLAIN
OC KIDS DIRECTOR/PASTOR
​Jenifer has been attending church for most of her life and she became a believer at a young age after attending a church camp. Jenifer has always had a passion to minister to children and has been working in children's ministry since 2001. She has been the children's director at Orchardville Church since April of 2023. She strives to teach her children the foundations of faith and to equip them to go out into the world which is commanded by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19-20. She continues to seek ways of reaching today’s children that are grounded in Scripture and points the children's hearts toward God.

Jenifer is married to Jeff McClain, who is a part of the worship team at Orchardville Church. She has three adult children, one daughter-in-law, and one new granddaughter, Rowan, that was born in June of 2023. Drew (the oldest) and Courtney (daughter-in-law), Stephen (the second oldest), and Amber (the youngest). Jenifer likes to spend her free time working on puzzles and spending time with her family. Jenifer is grateful to be a part of the Orchardville Church team and is excited to see where God leads her in this journey.
AUDREY SHARP
WORSHIP DIRECTOR
Audrey has had music and faith woven together throughout her life. Growing up in church, she discovered early on the powerful way worship connects us to God and to one another. Her own journey with Christ became personal during high school when she accepted Jesus as her Savior, and that decision shaped everything that followed. She began using her musical gifts in junior high, singing in church and discovering her passion for leading others in worship. In 2017, she found her church home at Orchardville, where she's been growing in community and faith ever since. She later married her husband Dillon, and together they continue to serve and worship at Orchardville.
Audrey and Dillon have been blessed with two wonderful children, Emberly and Lincoln, who keep life full and joyful. When she's not leading worship or spending time with her family, you might find Audrey quilting, crocheting, or curled up with a good book. She believes that creativity—whether through music, handcrafts, or the written word—is one of the ways we reflect our Creator. Audrey is excited to serve Orchardville as Music Director, helping our church family encounter God's presence through worship and use our voices to declare His goodness together.
JAKE CAPPS
YOUTH PASTOR/MEDIA
Jake grew up in church and was part of Modified Youth in its early years. Jake's teenage years with Modified Youth made a huge impact on his life which led him into God's calling of working with youth. Soon after high school, his faith continued to grow and he began helping lead area youth. Jake has been a youth leader for most of his adult life and came on as our youth pastor in November of 2022.
Jake is married to Hannah, who also has a passion for leading youth, and together they strive to share God's love with teens and young adults. Jake and Hannah have twins, a daughter named Sailor and a son named Judah. Jake likes to spend his free time with family, listening to music, and playing bass. Jake wants to share the love, comfort, and strength only God can provide with people who desperately need it...teenagers.
JODIE KELLY
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Jodie and her husband Josh have been married since 1997, building a beautiful family together. They are the proud parents of two sons and a daughter—Tyson, Zane, and Presley—and have welcomed two daughters-in-law, Chesney and Rylee, into their family. The joy of their lives includes two precious granddaughters, Emberlyn and Ira. When she's not at church, Jodie loves spending quality time with her family, getting lost in a good book, and cheering enthusiastically from the stands at Presley's sporting events.
The Kelly family has been an integral part of the Orchardville Church community for over 11 years. During this time, Jodie has developed a deep love for OC and the people who make it home. Her passion for serving others and sharing the love of Jesus shines through in everything she does. Jodie considers it a privilege and blessing to be part of the ministry team, and she is genuinely thankful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those around her.
AARON MCCORMICK
FACILITIES MANAGER
Aaron has recently stepped into the role of Facility Manager at Orchardville Church. Aaron has been part of the Orchardville Church family from birth — an incredible 37 years — and the church has played a meaningful role in his life and faith journey. He is truly thankful for the opportunity to serve in this new way and is passionate about caring for the church and its facilities so they can continue to be a welcoming place for worship, fellowship, and community.
Aaron and his wife, Alisa, who also serves as Nursery Coordinator at OC, have three children: Draven, Izabella, and Wren. Aaron enjoys making memories with his family, hunting, and operating his skid steer. He looks forward to being the hands and feet of Jesus.
